German Hunting Cutlass NiceThis is a german hunting cutlass. Overall measures 22 inches with a 16 inch heavy duty blade. It has a stagg handle with brass fittings. The scabbard is made of hard leather with brass fittings. There might have been a top throat fitting, not really sure & the blade doesnt go all the way ni due to leather shrinkage. There was a side knife that came with this but it is now missing. At one time the blade had etching, most of it has faded away. The blade has been sharpened and shows fien scratches. There is a maker on the spine mohr & speyer berlin. Heavy duyt piece. |
